Born and living in Greece you can hear older people talking about the remedies they prepare to effectively treat health problems or skin sensitivities. Studying the culture and habits of several areas all over Greece, we found that most of these remedies were based on the Olive oil and the wild herbs.

Centuries ago, in the Minoan period, women were brushing their hair with olive oil to keep them soft and shiny. In ancient Greece, during the Olympic Games, the athletes massaged their bodies with olive oil blended with aromatic plants to calm their muscles and relax. Even nowadays, Greek pediatricians recommend mothers to bathe their newborn babies with olive oil soap in order to avoid allergies or skin inflammations.
